Job Description: Dr David Sanders is a Research Leader based at Portsmouth University. He has worked with MotionTouch for the last 5 years as the Lead Academic for collaborative research and knowledge transfer partnerships (KTP's) between MotionTouch and the University, which is sponsored by the DTI. Dr David Sanders is also the Director of Studies for all MotionTouch staff registered for studies towards PhD.

Experience: David formed the Systems Engineering Research Group at the University of Portsmouth in 1991. Since then the numbers of staff and students in the research group have slowly increased to 24 people. During this time, David has also worked on a number of external activities, such as, being a Visiting Professor (2003 - 2004) at de-La Salle University in Manila (Philippines), presenting work on Knowledge Management and Intelligent Systems and investigating control engineering and software modelling problems.
